Matt Ford

The two-time Emmy Award winner is the CEO and lead designer behind Magic Lantern Creations, Inc. In 2008, he co-created MLCinc to provide ground-breaking visuals on time and on budget for broadcast and cable TV, Live Events, Large-Scale Outdoor Venues and Concert Arenas.  

Over 25 years ago, Ford began his lighting design career touring with some of the most celebrated and exacting artists in music, such as Whitney Houston, Stevie Nicks, Bob Seger, and Diana Ross. His unparalleled success in the industry catapulted him to the top shows on TV, including the MTV Video Music Awards Preshow and five years as Lighting Designer on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live.  

Adept at both Multi-Camera and Single Camera productions, Ford’s inventive style and imaginative use of color and competition has given distinctive looks to a variety of shows which include:
